GRADUATION!!!
So, lots of things have happened again since I wrote. First, I turned 22!!! (I'm so old I could be considered an adult ed student :) Anyway, I'm getting calls from hospitals, I'm trying to decide what to do with my life. I made the Anderson University Nurse's Honor Society. I just got my cap -which is the first of four ceremonies :) I am planning to see Gwyn this weekend, and I'm excited about that...and I need to find a place to live...and Dorito is getting married...and Jon is getting married -and I'm in both weddings :) And my parents finally met Andy's parents...and Andy came and he left...and he's coming again...and I love him lots....and AWANA is almost over -which is kind of sad...and I'm teaching jr church with mom during May...and about a thousand other things.
Alright, so one paper to write, one test to take and I'm done...I'm for real done :)
I remember thinking this day would never happen.
I hope that you're having a fabulous day also.
Remember: "Life is hard, the world is cold. You're barely young and then your old. But every falling tear is always understood. Life is hard, BUT GOD IS GOOD." Something to really remember when you feel like everything and everyone is against you :) Lots of love! amanda

A Month??? More???
How did so much time pass since the last time I wrote? Andy reminded me the other day -or maybe last night- that it had been quite a while. That's sad...because I still love blogging just as much as I did last year -but this year, it's getting somewhat neglected. Poor blog. Oh well. So, I went to Africa and back...and it was lovely, wonderful, absolutely amazing. I would love to go again. I'm not sure if I'd want to live there forever, but I could if God asked me too.
School is almost over. Just as much work to do, I feel. But, it's nearly done all the same. In essence, I really only have two weeks left, and those are just clinical days. I can't believe I made it...and my grades appear to be in good enough standing that I will indeed proceed through the graduation ordeal. I ordered my cap and gown and all that fun stuff. Oh, and I also ordered my special nursing cap...I think I get that during striping -apr 26th :) Wow...there's so much to do. And more than that...there's a bazillion weddings that are happening. Kristine and Jonathan and Doris and Josh are the two that I'm most closely associated with. Oh! And Kristine and Jonathan are moving to Little Rock. Jon's sending in his application for school, but it's pretty much a done deal. And I'm a little sad that they'll be farther away, but I'm so incredibly excited for them. And maybe, since I'll have real job and all...and since nurses sometimes work crazy hours...maybe I could just go and visit them :)
Anyway. So, today is the day that I must try and then realize what sorts of alterations must be made to the bridesmaid dress for Dorito's wedding. (Oh, and I also think it's funny that the bridesmaid dress for Kristine's wedding is the same color...) Oh well, so a little drive to southern Indiana to see how things are going :) Oh...and I don't know if this will actually happen or not -actually, I'm not sure why I need to go and be fitted in S. IN. but I wanted to keep all of the excess length they'll cut off from the dress and make curtains...I know there'll be lots of it!!!
Okay, so that's a little update for now. I probably should have said more about Africa, but there's too much to say about it to actually post it on here...what I need is about 12 hours of your time in order to say all I want :) So, with that...I'll leave you to praise God that you're not close enough to listen to me talk for 12 hours. It would certainly be considered one of the most boring times of your life, I'm sure!!! :)
